Consistency is ALWAYS the key! 🔑

At We Edit Podcasts, our passion for podcasting runs deep. And if there's one golden nugget of wisdom we ardently believe in, it's this:

Consistency is key when it comes to long-term podcasting success.

Why? So many reasons! But this is an email, so we'll keep it short!

Consistency:

1️⃣ Helps your listeners become more familiar with what you do, and this is vital for building relationships with your listeners.

2️⃣ Consistently sharing high-quality episodes showcases a level of authority and helps your podcast stand out from the crowd.

3️⃣ Consistency also develops a sense of trust between you and your audience. This is podcast gold!

4️⃣ Consistency in both the quality of your episodes and your publishing schedule shows commitment to your mission and further develops your relationship with your listeners.

5️⃣ And finally, consistency is a great asset when you start looking for ways to successfully monetize your podcast.

So, consistency is a vital component of long-term podcast success.

But now for the big question: how do you create that consistency?

We dish up all our best tips and tricks for developing consistency when it comes to podcasting in this post. Check it out, and you'll have the keys 🔑 for podcasting success.

All great stories have a starting point. In the journey of starting a business, this is referred to as your “why”. So let me tell you about mine, and why your “why” is essential…

Your “why” is a true statement of purpose, which outlines why you do what you’ve set out to do. At WEP, our core purpose is to help podcasters. We make their lives easier by providing the services they need to produce a high-quality, incredible podcast! This is what we come back to time and time again.

The same is true when it comes to your podcast. Why did you set out to launch your podcast? This is your podcast calling. Your conviction. Your mission statement.

If you feel overwhelmed or anxious on this journey of growing your podcast, it is most likely because you are unclear of your “why” and are unaligned with your own unique purpose.

Your “why” should come from within you. It should be the driving factor that gets you motivated and excited to put out another episode, connect with your listeners, find the next amazing guest, and grow, grow, GROW! So stop looking outward, and refocus on yourself and your purpose - your story.

We'll unpack all of this as we continue on The Journey...

But for today, what can you do this week to get you one step closer on the journey of growing your podcast? Follow these three steps:

Step 1: Reflect on your motivation. Remember why you started your podcast and what inspired you. Reconnect with your initial motivation to find clarity on your "why."

Step 2: Align with personal values. Ensure your podcast aligns with your core values and beliefs. When your "why" resonates with who you are, it becomes easier to stay motivated and authentic.

Step 3: Find inner inspiration. Look within for the aspects of podcasting that truly excite and fulfill you. Embrace the joy and satisfaction you derive from it to strengthen your "why" and fuel your growth.

Remember, your "why" is a powerful driving force behind your podcast's success. Embrace it, nurture it, and let it guide you on your journey to creating a high-quality, impactful podcast.

Until next week...

Happy podcasting! 🎧
